Starting with the Next Season FC Mladost Will Be FC Titograd Once Again
FC Mladost will take part at the draw of the League of Montenegro tomorrow, in the organisation of the Football Association of Montenegro, under the new/old name FC Titograd. The club will compete under this name in all of the following competitions, the board has stated.
The club was founded in 1951 and has carried the name Mladost for six years, when it was renamed FC Titograd, only to return to the old name in 1992.
During ex Yugoslavia the club mostly competed in the Second Federal League and in the Montenegrin Republic League. The club is renowned for a very strong school of football. The younger team categories have produced world stars of football such as Dejan Savicevic, Predrag Mijatovic, Nisa Saveljic, Refik Sabanadzovic, Stevan Jovetic and many others.
