GOVEDARICA’S COMMENTS ABOUT THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE CLUB, PLAYERS AND ABOUT THE CITY DERBY
OFK Titograd will host Buducnost in the 16th round of Telecom 1.CFL on Saturday at 7pm (broadcast on RTCG). Titograd is not in a good form. In the last seven matches, the “Romantics” have won only four points. They have recently changed the head coach. Zoran Govedarica is now on the bench instead of Dragoljub Djuretic. He is a football expert known to the Montenegrin public as the former coach of Grbalj, where he showed excellent results. He is also a former coach of “Buducnost”.
The curiosity is that Govedarica will make his debut against his former club, which he led when he had his last engagement in Montenegro.
Govedarica has only been in the club for four days, but he shared his first impressions and spoke about the current atmosphere in the club, about the players and the city derby.
“I will say at the beginning that the club is well organized. People, who work here, under the leadership of the President, are pursuing a vision that will take a long and hard work to accomplish. I am sure that along the way, there will be difficulties, but these people are full of enthusiasm and persistence, and it will pay back one day. I have established a good communication with the president and the staff. Now we all have to work hard, look forward and not look back.” Govedarica said.
In the end, the new coach of Titograd talked about the players and about the match against Buducnost.
“The reality is that we cannot, nor should we, threaten to anyone. After a series of bad results, we simply must not allow ourselves to threaten to anyone, especially to Buducnost, who is the championship leader for a reason. However, this does not stop us from believing in good results. I know these boys because I have worked in Montenegro. It is undeniable that they have quality and worth more. We have to work hard to reach that quality, because we are not at that level now.” said Govedarica.
We wish the new head coach good luck and success on the bench of OFK Titograd.
