LOST POINTS, GOT A GOALKEEPER

2020-06-05

OFK Titograd failed to shock Buducnost once again. Two years ago, the “romantics” shocked the “blues” when they were eliminated from the Cup competition, and this time the leader justified its expectations and continued to walk safely towards the championship crown.

Titograd was left without points in the city derby, thus “slipping” into a dangerous zone, i.e. the barrage zone, but the general impression is that the club from Stari Aerodrom has several players , who confirmed that they have huge potential, and above all goalkeeper Sergej Joksimović, whose time is without a doubt yet to come. Only in the introductory moments, Joksimović took off three goals from the Greek international Moraitis and clearly showed what kind of talent he is.

– I am very satisfied with the chance I got in my club and I will do everything to justify the trust – pointed out young Joksimović.

Although, according to the situation on the standings and the quality, Buducnost was the absolute favorite, they have something to regret – Titograd led, and until the 70th minute they had a point in their pocket.

– We did our best, but we obviously lacked experience in certain situations and our opponent knew how to punish that. Buducnost played well and I congratulate them on the victory – admits Joksimović, who worried the “blues” with his great interventions.

After the defeat by Buducnost, Titograd continued a bad series of results and it is clear that a hellishly difficult mission in the fight for salvation awaits it until the end. Petrovac has one point more, Kom is in 11th place with only one point less, while “lanterns” from Grbalj is at minus six. And already on Sunday, Titograd is visiting Grbalj. It is clear that mistakes in that match are strictly forbidden.

– It will be difficult, but we all hope that we will show ourselves in the best light by the end of the season, that our efforts will pay off and that we will achieve more positive results – underlined goalkeeper Sergej Joksimović.
