OFK Titograd was placed 4th and, due to Budućnost’s victory in the Cup finals, was granted a spot in the European League. One of the key players of Titograd was Vojin Pavlović. He played 35 games, and scored 9 goals, making him second scorer in the team. However, there was almost no time for break, as the new coach – Dragoljub Đuretić – started preparations right away.
“Preparations are going according to plan, training twice a day…Main thing is that there are no injured players, and we aim to keep it that way all trough the qualifying rounds, which begin next month” said Pavlović.
The draw held last Tuesday in Nyon has not been in “romantics” favor. They got paired up with CSKA Sofia, which is one the best teams in Bulgaria.
“We got paired up with an uneasy opponent. It will be a tough game, but we will not surrender. It is a fact that in soccer, the best team may not always win. We hope we will respond to the task” said Pavlović for newspaper “Dan”.
